Proposed two-man submersible (circa 1882)

Sheet 3 of a set of five drawings illustrating a design proposal for a two-man submersible submitted to the Admiralty by a Mr. George Gerrey of Newhaven in January 1882.

Graduated bar scale. A plan showing the inboard profile, plan view of the interior and midships hull section of the craft. There are also detail drawings of the camouflaged air buoy and air box.

The plan is signed by the designer and dated 11 January 1882.
