The National Maritime Museum is hosting a series of free workshops for all ages and abilities, inspired by the new exhibition Canaletto's Venice Revisited.
Get creative, make your own Venetian mask and discover more about Venice's amazing history, all as part of your visit to the National Maritime Museum.
The workshops run every day from 12-14 April, and are open to anyone with a ticket to the Museum.
You can also book tickets to see the new exhibition now, and get free entry to the National Maritime Museum as part of your visit.

Save our waterways!
Save our waterways! Protect the Thames! Less plastic, more fantastic!
Families are invited to explore a range of print and stencil techniques to create their own protest tote bag, inspired by flags, posters and objects in the museum's collection, and in the special exhibition Caneletto's Venice Revisited. This is a messy workshop; please wear appropriate clothing.

A Venetian Mask Workshop
Masks have always been an essential component of Venetian culture. Join this workshop and learn how to create your own Venetian mask.

Neptune
Meet Neptune, god of the oceans, as he tries to gather help from people across the earth to save the oceans that are his home.
Time: 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

Oyster Opera Duo
People never forget an encounter with Oyster Opera. It’s not every day you are invited to waltz along to Verdi’s ‘Brindisi’, are pounced on by a man-mad mezzo, or are serenaded at close range by a beautiful soprano. Look out for their beautiful gondola and enjoy a range of famous operatic duets.

A Collective 3D Veduta Artwork
A veduta (Italian for 'view') is a highly detailed, usually large-scale painting or, more often, print of a cityscape or some other vista. Inspired by the Canaletto’s painting Greenwich Hospital from the North Bank of the Thames, families are invited to take part in making a collective large scale 3D veduta artwork out of different materials.
