Craft workshop: Terrific tulip origami

Monday 7 April and Monday 14 April | 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm

Spring is in full bloom in this origami tulip-making workshop. 

Inspired by the iconic Tulip Stairs, this drop-in session will teach you how to create breathtaking blooms using the ancient Japanese paper folding art form of origami. Blooming brilliant!

How has nature inspired the creation of iconic buildings? 

You’ll find out about the Tulip Stairs and more in this creative, flower-making workshop, where you’ll get to explore nature-inspired buildings across the globe.

Upcycled tulip treasures

Saturday 12 April | 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm

Spring into... spring! Get inspired by the iconic Tulip Stairs at the Queen’s House in this crafting workshop, where you'll turn everyday materials into beautiful tulips and decorative vases using junk modelling techniques. 

A perfect blend of history, creativity, and a sprinkle of upcycling magic!

Musical storytime: The Kangaroo from New Holland

Friday 18 April and Saturday 19 April | 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm

Sail into the world of 18th-century exploration with a musical storytelling adventure!

Inspired by George Stubbs’ famous painting The Kongouro from New Holland, this 30-minute session blends storytelling, movement, and maritime music on guitar and violin. 

A toe-tapping, inspiring experience that will leave you dancing.
