Certificate of competency as master of Archibald Garriock, dated 14 June 1858 (certificate number 18865).
Certificate of competency as master of James Garriock, dated 5 September 1885 (certificate number 011530).
Discharge certificates relating to the employment of James Garriock on the iron barques CASSANDRA (1868) and COLCHAQUA (1866), and the iron three-masted ship WEST RIDING (1875), between 1877 and 1888.
Issues of ‘Sea Breezes’ magazine from May 1938 and December 1960, featuring an obituary for James Garriock and a discussion of Garriock family connections with the iron barque AETHELBERHT (1876).
