Administrative / biographical background
Edward Austin Kent (1854-1912) was a prominent architect in Buffalo, New York, who died in the sinking of RMS TITANIC. Edith Louise Russell (1879-1975), an American fashin buyer, stylist and corrrespondent, survived the sinking of the TITANIC. HMS CARPATHIA arrived two hours after the TITANIC had sunk, and her crew rescued 705 survivors from the ship's lifeboats. Jeremiah Burke was an Irish Third Class Passenger (1893-1912) who drowned in the sinking of the TITANIC.
