Letter from Father Francis Browne to Walter Lord and accompanying images

The letter and accompanying six images of ships (some annotated on the reverse) is in repy to Walter Lord's enquiry regarding the last known photograph of the TITANIC.

Administrative / biographical background
Francis Patrick Mary Browne (1880-1960) was a distinguished Irish Jesuit and prolific photographer, whose best known photographs are those of the TITANIC and its passengers and crew, taken when he was a passenger from Southampton to Queenstown.
