The caption for this photograph is: ' Mr. Mlah [? - handwriting difficult to read] & "Joe" '.

The Raglan Castle had left London on 12 April 1899 via Southampton, Madeira, Grand Canary for Cape Town and Algoa Bay, South Africa with cargo, passengers and mail.
