A sheet of drawings of the ‘Osprey’ in pen and sepia ink with preliminary pencil underdrawing. The main image shows the ship in port broadside view with its rigging but without sails. Two detail sketches on the right focus on the bow and the osprey figurehead. At upper left is a sketch of the stern, viewed starboard quarter. Indistinct scribbles at lower right corner. Part of a sketchbook. Inscribed: ‘Osprey – May 24th 1844’
