Drawing inscribed with names of three yachts 'Grecian[?] Schooner/ Sepr 5 – 1821/bearing up for Dublin, Sabrina bearing up off Wicklow/ Sepr 5 182-, Liffey.'

Schetky's daughter SFL Schetky reveals in her book 'Ninety Years of Work and Play, Sketches from the Public and Private Career of John Christian Schetky' reveals that in his capacity as Marine Painter in Ordinary to George IV Schetky ‘accompanied his Majesty on his visit to Ireland in the summer of 1821’. Presumably this drawing of yachts dates from the time of the visit.
