A well-observed study of the local costume at Tepic, Mexico, where Fanshawe appears to have spent the dates given for it arranging for a freight of silver to be carried to Panama on his ship 'Daphne' from San Blas, the port for Tepic: for his drawing of the town see PAI4651.
