'Chinese Junks'

No. 5 of 51(PAJ2051 - PAJ2101): inscribed by the artist on the album page, as title, and signed in monogram initials and dated 'JHB / 6/67', in the lower left on the drawing. Presumably a view Butt saw near Hong Kong. The two craft seen in stern view on the left may be pole junks, with large stern hatches for loading timber, and the three-master under sail in the right middle distance appears to be a Pechili trader.
