Gracie Fields (1936); Passenger vessel; Ferry

Scale: Unknown. A miniature waterline model of the Isle of Wight passenger ferry Gracie Fields (1936) made entirely in wood with metal fittings and painted in realistic colours. A number of fittings and features have been drawn onto the model rather than depicted in three dimensions. The hull is painted red at the waterline, black above with a narrow yellow strip running its entire length, and red paddles.. Features include a forecastle with jackstaff at the bow; foredeck with a foremast forward; superstructure and paddle boxes, painted white; single tall funnel, painted red with a black top; and ensign staff.
