Warship; 74 guns
Scale: Unknown. A model of a Royal Naval warship made in plaster with wood, metal, paper, and cotton fittings which has been realistically painted. The model depicts the vessel at 1.40pm on 21st October 1805 at the height of the Battle of Trafalgar and the ship is shown undamaged. The ship is three masted and ship rigged on all three masts. All sails are set and studdingsails, yards and sails are set on foremast and main mast, on the port side. A white ensign is flying from the peak of the gaff, a union flag is flying from a halliard, between the fore and main masts and a pennant is flying from the top of the foremast. The hull is painted black with white stripes along the gun decks, white on the deck, and black on the deck fittings.
