Warship; 74 guns

Scale: Unknown. A model of a Royal Navy warship made in plaster with wood, metal, paper, and cotton fittings which has been realistically painted. The model depicts the vessel at 1.40pm on 21st October 1805 at the height of the Battle of Trafalgar and the ship is shown with damage sustained in the battle. The ship is three masted, ship rigged and with set sails, showing shot damage. The hull is painted black with white stripes along the two gun decks. The decks are painted white with black deck fittings. There are two Union flags flying from halyards, there's damage to all three masts and to the bowsprit and jib boom.
