Uncatalogued: Annals of Perim.
4 folio-size volumes in very poor condition: Annals of Perim Vol. 1 1873-1877, Vol 2 1856-1895, Vol 3 1898-1925, Vol 5 1926-1936. 9 conserved and re- bound parts of a book-size volume (possibly the missing Vol 4 - is suggested by annotation 'Here endeth Vol IV' on last page of one of the parts); 60 loose sheets from folio-size volume, conserved, ready for re-binding. Page entitled 'Preface' says 'The Annals of Perim - 27th July 1873... when I landed on this Island I felt sorry to hear that the Officer's journal had disappeared... therefore I will start the thing again'. The numbered pages reach 112 without any missing, (but there were possibly originally more pages as an ending is not announced) and there are an extra 3 unnumbered pages, one which is instructions on baking bread.
