2 Notebooks and an assortment of loose pages. The notebooks are labelled 1 and 2 and detail the authors time working as a Keel mate, and subsequently Captain, upon the Humber. The loose leaf sheets similarly document particular anecdotes from the authors life under such titles as "The Drunken Billy Boy", "The Ships Mast" and a "Keelman's Tide Table".
