Uncatalogued: Two original letters from Francis Norman (midshipman/mate) to his grandmother, and typescripts of several others, 1852-4.
Two original letters and 10 transcribed excerpts from other letters. The first of the original letters is complete with a depiction of the harbour in Malta from May 1853, while the second is less lavishly decorated. The transcribed letters mostly come from Francis M. Norman's time on the BRITANNIA, while stationed in the Bosphoros near Constantinople/Istanbul.
