Letter to Lady Arden, 21 March 1809.
Letter from George to his mother Lady Arden. They have sailed from Mahon as they heard that the French fleet was out, and that the PROSPERINE had been taken. They have not encountered an enemy fleet, but are watching Toulon. He has heard talk of a monument for General Moore, alongside one for Nelson, and wants his brother John to sign up for the next army to come to Spain. Dated HM ship TIGRE, Port Mahon, 21 March 1809.
