Letter to Lady Arden, 9 October 1809.
Letter from George to his mother Lady Arden. They are still waiting for the French to weigh anchor for Brest, and he retains hopes of an action to relieve them from the station. They have been to Algiers and detained some of the Dey's fleet. His friend Barker has left to join Codrington's vessel BLAKE. Dated HM ship TIGRE, off Minorca, 9 October 1809.
