Letter to Lady Arden, 14 June 1809.

Letter from George to his mother Lady Arden. They have been on an uneventful cruise to Leghorn and the Gulf of Genoa. They encountered a French boat at Port Espiegle, but their tackle broke before they could launch a boat attack. They have met up with the main fleet and are about to have a sale of all the goods they have impounded. Dated HM ship TIGRE, 14 June 1809.
