Uncatalogued: Account of a voyage on the SIROCCO from London to Brisbane
Account of the voyage of Charlotte Hobbs and her husband Richard (Dick) Hobbs, passengers on the full-rigged ship SIROCCO (1856) of Liverpool, James Baines & Co. (Black Ball Line), departed from Gravesend on 3 April 1865 and disembarked at Brisbane on 18 July 1865. Written by Charlotte Hobbs and sent to her mother in England from Ipswich, Queensland. It includes discussion of their unsatisfactory accommodation, also numerical details of passengers and deaths during the voyage.
