Copy of a letter written by Eva Hart and her mother Esther, to Mrs Bloomfied, on RMS TITANIC stationery while onboard the TITANIC. It was written the night of the sinking.

Administrative / biographical background
Eva Miriam Hart (1905-1996) was emigrating to Canada with her parents. Her father did not survive. The letter had been placed in her father's jacket, which was given to Eva to keep her warm in the lifeboat. Mrs Bloomfield was Eva's grandmother.
