Correspondence from the year 1808 regarding Attorney-General v. Lindegren.

Correspondence between Lindegren and Kaye & Freshfield, also correspondence from Lindegren to Ellis Ellis and a Mr Johnson, and correspondence between Kaye and Charles Bicknell, May to December 1808. The first letter, dated 17 May 1808 informs Lindegren that Kaye has received a copy of the information filed against him by the Attorney-General, and that Lindegren now needs to send written copies of all transactions it refers to. In November, Kaye writes to Bicknell informing him that Lindegren has broken his arm, meaning he is "unable to attend to business". The majority of the letters concern various drafts and corrections of the information provided by Lindegren for his statement, and organising meetings between Lindegren, Kaye, Ellis and Bicknell.
