Correspondence from the year 1809 regarding Attorney-General v. Lindegren.
Correspondence between Lindegren and Kaye & Freshfield, among others, January to April 1809. On 19 January Lindegren describes how he feels he has been wrongly accused. In March, K&F write to Messrs Day and Hammerton who had brought action against Lindegren in the names of Messrs Day and Phillips, solicitors. The last letter dated 1809, Lindegren tells Day & Phillips that he has requested a survey of the cargo of the ship HANNIBAL, so that he may discern its value and pay them, unless they would rather dispose of it as they see fit.
