Correspondence from 1814 to 1815 regarding Attorney-General v. Lindegren.

Correspondence between Lindegren and Kaye & Freshfield, among others, between August 1814 and November 1815. In August 1814, Knight & Jones write to K&F to inform them that Stephen Thornton (Executor of Godfrey Thornton, deceased) will be examined on the behalf of the informant. This witness seems to cause Lindegren some concern. In November 1815 K&F recommend to Lindegren that he should pay a certain sum by way of compromise, or at least refund what he received as a participation of the commission charged by Morrison & Co. They suggest Lindegren come to London to discuss this further.
