Letter dated 26th September 1804 includes details of 27th September observation of Mr Harding’s new planet (3 Juno).

Administrative / biographical background
Juno was discovered in 1804 by Karl Ludwig Harding. It was the third asteroid found, but was initially considered to be a planet; it was later reclassified as an asteroid and minor planet by the 1850s.
