Correspondence with James Cutforth, Gibraltar, 1805-1806.

Correspondence with James Cutforth, agent victualler, concerning the Spanish ship PURISIMA CONCEPTION (alias AZUCENA), taken as a prize by HMS LATONA (1781) on 12 January 1805 and driven to Gibraltar by bad weather:

(1) Letter to Gosselin discussing the cargo of the PURISIMA CONCEPTION, dated 7 April 1805.
(2) Copy of a letter sent to Gosselin’s agents Ommanney & Druce on the same date.
(3) Copy of a reply from Ommanney & Druce, including a copy of Cutforth’s letter and cargo manifest, dated 11 June 1805.
(4) Two further letters to Gosselin, dated 4 September 1805 and 10 March 1806.
