Account with Edmund Lockyer, Plymouth, 1805-1806.

Letters from the agent Edmund Lockyer at Plymouth, mainly discussing the Spanish prizes PURISIMA CONCEPTION (alias LA AZUCENA), SAN BUENAVENTURA and GUIPUZCOANA (alias AMPHIVIE), their cargoes and distribution of proceeds:

(1) Fifteen letters sent to Gosselin on HMS LATONA (1781), including copies of letters written by W.P. Smith, Admiral’s Secretary at Plymouth, and the agent James Cutforth at Gibraltar, dated between 4 April 1805 and 18 May 1806.
(2) A financial statement for the account current between Gosselin and Lockyer, 1805-1806.
(3) A copy of a letter from Lockyer to Nathaniel Brice, having charge of the PURISIMA CONCEPTION at Gibraltar, dated 16 April 1805.
