Letter written by Thomas from HMS SPARTIATE to his sister Miss Mary Thomas. The letter does not state the year, month or place of writing but it was probably written in late 1805 or perhaps early 1806 at Plymouth. In the letter he encloses money to pay off the debts which he did not clear before leaving Southampton. He also writes that a ball was held on board the SPARTIATE which carried on until daybreak.
