Letter written by Thomas from HMS LATONA at the Entrance of the Straits to his sister Miss Mary Thomas. In his letter he writes that they are approaching Gibraltar where the crew will disembark, and explains that the LATONA will carry on to Cadiz to collect dispatches for Plymouth. He also mentions the appointment of Mr Yorke and his expectation of promotion.
