Letter written by Thomas from Plymouth dock to his sister Miss Thomas. In the letter he writes he is waiting to board the frigate LOTANA taking 200 men to man gun boats at Gibraltar, and he is happy to have been given the command of one division. He expresses a general sense of contentment at being on good terms with his superiors as well as his shipmates.
