Uncatalogued: Xeox copy of a letter from Lieutenant Godfrey C.C. Crookshank on HMS AGAMEMNON
Xerox copy of a letter from Lieutenant Godfrey Colfox Chichester Crookshank, addressed ‘Dear Whitehead’ and sent from the battleship HMS AGAMEMNON (1906) in the Mediterranean, dated 24 June 1916. Crookshank discusses the shooting down of a Zeppelin, and his hope to serve in the North Sea as a gunnery lieutenant before the war is over. A piece of fabric from the Zeppelin was enclosed with the original letter.
