Recto: Naples. Verso: From Naples they sail to Livorno, where Barlow gives news of some other English ships. He complains bitterly about their Christmas dinner on board and the treatment of the crew by their officers.

Page 125 (recto): Naples.
Page 126 (verso): The sailors barter clothes for wine, and Barlow gives some of the maxims of a poor sailor. He describes the city of Naples and its products, especially silk. At Livorno a fireship accompanying them is fitted to carry marble to England to be used in building the King's house at Greenwich. Barlow objects to the Dutch bragging about their victory over the English. He describes the meagre Christmas dinner on board and complains bitterly about the treatment of the seamen by their officers.
