Page 189 (recto): Barlow arrives back in England. He is very grieved to hear of the death of his sister. He tries to borrow ten pounds from his family and friends, but is refused. East India House gives him two months' pay (50 shillings), and he also makes a profit on some Bibles bought in Amsterdam.
