Page 162 (verso): The EXPERIMENT arrives back in Blackwall and Barlow decides to go on her next voyage. The ship is re-loaded with broad-cloth and other goods, and has to leave two guns behind. On 27 September 1671 they set sail from Gravesend bound for Taiwan, with the ZANT and the RETURN, Barlow's ship being Admiral. [The next page of the manuscript is missing].
