Page 185 (recto): Barlow feels unwell with a stomach pain. Near Ireland they hear news that Holland is at peace with England but still at war with France. They sight Shotlande [Shetland] and meet Dutch men-of-war looking out for their fleet. Men are sent on board their ship to help pump out the serious leak.

Page 186 (verso): Barlow is tired of his imprisonment and reflects on his love for England. Approaching Holland, they sight Admiral de Ruyter's squadron. They anchor at Helford Sluys, and the English prisoners are ordered to go in the Dutch East India Company boats to Amsterdam.
