Ship documents, Union-Castle Line correspondence and printed ephemera relating to the last voyages of the passenger liner EDINBURGH CASTLE (1948). The final passage from Cape Town to Southampton (Voyage No 189) took place in April 1976.

Baggage Tally Book, 1975. Engine Room Stores and Equipment Requisitions books, 1969 and 1975 (2 volumes). Deck Reports and Indent books, 1975 (3 volumes). Certificates for Burning or Welding (1 volume). Department of Trade Passenger and Safety Certificates, issued 1 November 1974 and 9 October 1975.

Boxes 2, 3 and 4: Material from Voyages 174-189 in 1975-1976. Including daily information leaflets, menus, souvenir programme of events for the final passenger voyage, bowls excursion booklets, typescript passenger and crew lists, Return of Births and Deaths forms (RBD 1/72), repairs and stores lists, telex and radiogram message forms, and statements regarding misconduct of crew members.
