Journal kept by Signalman William Hubert Moon on the light cruiser HMS WEYMOUTH (1910), between 24 May 1920 (commissioned at Malta) and 1 June 1921 (paid off at Chatham). During this period the WEYMOUTH was mainly in the South Atlantic and South Pacific, and visited locations in South America, the Falklands Islands and South Georgia. The journal includes details of distances run and coal consumption, topographical postcards and photographs, including group portraits and whaling scenes. There is also a crossing the line certificate, dated 14 June 1920.
