Page 47 (recto): Caption reads "The Shipp Royall Charles that was in the year 1600 when she returned with his Majesty, King Charles, on his return to England at the Restoration".
Page 48 (verso): King Charles renames the NASEBY the ROYAL CHARLES. The King disembarks near Dover and is greeted by General Monke and many nobles. Those who had served on the fleet were given a piece of gold and extra pay, but some of Barlow's money is taken by his master. The Duke of York goes on the ROYAL CHARLES to meet the Queen of Bohemia, but hears news of his brother the Duke of Gloucester's death.
