Page 57 (recto): "...the Greatest Pirates Towne to all Christian Nationes in all the world ... upon the Cost of Barbery caled Argeire..." (Algiers, Algeria).
Page 58 (verso): Barlow's ship sets sail for Lisbon, and encounters two dolphins who swim alongside. Bad weather forces the ship towards Gibraltar, where they cannot weigh the anchor and are forced to cut the cable and lose it. They run short of provisions, and have to drink a mixture of sour wine and stinking water and eat salty food.
