Page 71 (recto): Barlow's ship reaches Lisbon and declares its goods (mainly cloths) to the customs men. Taking on board ten more crewmen, they sail for Cape St. Vincent on a private mission.
Page 72 (verso): The ship sails past the Balearic islands and anchors near Barcelona. The captain goes on shore, accompanied by a Portugese passenger dressed as an Englishman, possibly because the Spanish and Portugese are at war.
