Page 91 (recto): The King declares war on Denmark for aiding the Dutch, but little happens apart from an engagement between the PRINCESS and two Danish men-of-war in 1667. Dutch ships captured at Lowestoft are fitted out as English men-of-war.
Page 92 (verso): The fleet sets sail again for Holland, where they capture a number of enemy ships, but the English HECTOR is sunk by a squall. The MONKE takes a fishing vessel, but it has no valuable cargo on board. Barlow is grief-stricken to learn that his brother and other friends and relatives have died of the plague in London.
