A view in Alexandra Bay [Princess Alexandra Harbour] looking at the ice left grounded by the falling tide. The two ships passed Cape Sabine in the morning of 4 August, arriving at the Bay in the evening. When the ice opened a channel to the northwest the ships departed on 5 August 1875.
