Taken from behind the cairn on Discovery Beach below Mount Cartmel and Cairn Hill, with the breakwater extending from Bellot Island in the middle distance. The cairn in the foreground was made of preserved-meat tins. Note the dogs in the foreground, and the heavy ice in this area of the harbour.
