Recto: The RONE FACTER passes down the Seine and unloads her cargo at Rouen. She is then hired to take hoops to Malaga. Verso: The ship returns to Portsmouth, where dishonest officers from the ROYAL CHARLES sell them items from their stores. They proceed to Malaga via Tangier, where they are told of a recent battle with the Moors.

Page 207 (recto): Approaching the mouth of the Seine, Barlow describes the dangers of the sandbanks there. They pass the pleasant orchards of the Seine and at Rouen their cargo is unloaded into large lighters to be taken to Paris. The RONE FACTER is hired by French merchants to take hoops to Malaga. Barlow describes Rouen and its products. He buys two French hats.

Page 208 (verso): The ship takes on a cargo of pipe hoops. They sail to Portsmouth, where they see the newly built ROYAL CHARLES and ROYAL JAMES. Dishonest officers on board the ROYAL CHARLES sell them ropes and powder from their stores. When they reach Tangier they are told of a recent battle with the Moors, in which the English were ambushed and outnumbered. The RONE FACTER proceeds to Malaga.
