Verso: The ship returns to Portsmouth, where dishonest officers from the ROYAL CHARLES sell them items from their stores. They proceed to Malaga via Tangier, where they are told of a recent battle with the Moors.

Page 207 (recto): Approaching the mouth of the Seine, Barlow describes the dangers of the sandbanks there. They pass the pleasant orchards of the Seine and at Rouen their cargo is unloaded into large lighters to be taken to Paris. The RONE FACTER is hired by French merchants to take hoops to Malaga. Barlow describes Rouen and its products. He buys two French hats.
