Page 247 (recto): "City of Cacho", possibly a port now known as Qinzhou, showing English and Dutch factories, and below another city, "Bantola", in Sumatra, now known as Bengkulu City.

Page 248 (verso): The RAINBOW sails to Batavia and then to Bancola to load pepper. The East India Company has a garrison there, but it is an unhealthy place. Barlow expresses concern about the morality of colonialism. The RAINBOW sails to Mauritius, in the possession of the Dutch East India Company. Barlow describes the island and its produce.
