A journal on surveying of North America, West Indies, West Africa, South Africa, East Africa, East Indies, Red sea and Mediterranean Stations along side 9 officers and 109 men. Bermuda to Malta, 3 December 1897 to 1901 giving a short description of the ship which was run down at the time of boarding HMS RAMBLER, Hatchard also describes all the places he visited including St Johns Island, Malta, Fortena Bay, Port Saunders. Also includes a xerox copy of a typed transcript.
