Diary of a voyage from Gravesend to Colombo on the REWA, 1883.
Notebook containing a journal kept by an unknown female passenger on the passenger liner REWA (1881), owned by British India Associated Steamers (managed by Gray, Dawes & Co.), departed from Gravesend on 10 July 1883 and arrived at Colombo, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) on 8 August 1883. The journal continues for a short period afterwards, with mention of her meeting various members of the Wesleyan Missionary Society and her teaching role at Wesley College in Colombo. Also a loose folded map showing the locations of Church Missionary Society stations in north India.
