1915 Diary of R. Chapman, gunner, HMS Queen Elizabeth.
Diary kept by gunner R. Chapman of the battleship HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH, including the Dardanelles campaign and Gallipoli landings. The diary begins in February and concludes in December 1915 and describes the routine life of the ship at Scapa Flow, Invergordon and a brief time at sea on exercise, gunnery and practice. Included are the names and address of Chapman's Wife, mother and brothers for writing letters, 2 loose inserts and one hand drawn battle.
